NBA players prefer Instagram to Tinder to sleep around on the road

The NBA is more streamlined these days. Everything from travel, food, sleeping and even the taboo hookups on the road are catered to its players.

An article for ESPN The Magazine takes readers inside the life of NBA players during road trips and how a “Tinderization of the NBA,” as one GM put it, is actually beneficial for the league.

He shot around with his teammates Saturday, and he’s expected to be with the Warriors on their two-game road trip that begins Monday in Oklahoma City, Durant’s former home. It will be the first time he’s traveled with the team since he began rehab March 1, the San Francisco Chronicle noted.

With Durant’s knee to be re-evaluated in less than a week, the Warriors are cautiously optimistic he’ll be back for the playoffs.

“You just try to let a guy rehab and do what he wants to do at his own pace,” Draymond Green said. “I feel like when you start talking to a guy — ‘Hey, man, how you doing?’ — then all of a sudden they want to rush back. … Take your time. Get right. When he’s ready, obviously, we want him back out there.”

As for the Blue Devils, coach Mike Krzyzewski has a lot of work to do following the loss of Kennard. Duke must replace talent and scoring from Kennard and Tatum as well as leadership from seniors Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones. There hasn’t been any word on the draft status of junior New Vikings Jerseys Cheap guard NBA Jerseys For Sale Grayson Allen, though he still has until the April 23 deadline to declare. Sporting News’ Ryan Fagan had Duke at No. 2 in his way-too-early Top 25 prior to Kennard declaring for the draft, but seeing Kennard and Allen leave the program in the next month could drop the Blue Devils outside of the top 10.
